Internships
Are you an Engineer with an interest in developing innovative products and getting a deeper understanding of software lifecycle, deadlines, quality assurances, schedules, rework and so on and on and on? Do you have a strong creative mind or interest in solving complex problems and driving process improvement, and an ability to network widely?
As an intern, you will be introduced to best practices of the industry. You will be able to implement these processes during actual execution of your projects later on. As such, you will be working broadly across product development and documentation, as well get to discuss with other functional groups and key stakeholders to support development of a true product that is to be released into the market.
Our students graduate with a solid foundation in innovation, a core analytical background and an intimate knowledge of product and service development. They are poised to lead the entire innovation life cycle by striking the ideal balance between big picture approaches and detail-oriented processes for problem solving.
Learning From Experience: All Blackbucks have the opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world organizations, often in collaboration with experienced managers. Our university-wide partnerships emphasizes innovation and meticulous work. Students collaborate with students of other projects to propose solutions to some of the world's toughest problems.
Product Development Studio
Product development, a 16-week work at project. The project / product development will take the student through all the activities of a client sponsored project – the schedules, testing, rework, late-nights, standup meetings, presentations, discussions, change in requirements, documentation and so on. Many of the projects / products developed as a result of this will be put through a well guided sales cycle. A detail of product development process, quality assurance, products, domains, project list is provided in later sections. A project lead is provided in a ratio of 1:10. And, a project decision maker who is the guide / mentor is available in a ratio of 1:25. If the project lead to team member ratio is considered as teacher – student ratio, this stands out at par with the best in the world.
Gyan Guru
The Gyan Guru program allows students listen from industry experts, technology business leaders, pioneers, managers, delivery heads, vertical heads, functional experts, business analysts and human resource managers. The regular interaction and the connect makes them aware of the thinking of organizations and help them prepare well for their interviews and work in these organizations. Mentorship at Blackbucks happens through formal relationships, such as those between adviser and student, and more informally through networking and proximity. The campus extensively involves visiting entrepreneurs, consulting faculty, lecturers and fellows, and office hours for these individuals can quickly move from suggesting specific assignments to relaying war stories or providing real-time strategy sessions.



Launchpad
Our approach to entrepreneurship education is to bring together cutting-edge technology and real-world needs. The students get access to seasoned entrepreneurs, veterans of the startup process who share their experiences and insights and may even provide key introductions to funders.
LaunchPad offered as part of innovation and entrepreneurship, is a course in product design and development in which student teams imagine, prototype, build, market, distribute and sell a product or service. The student will be taught number of successful case studies, strategies of great businesses. The student will get help on startup process, documentation work, funding alternatives, and a detailed course on enterprise planning and management through information and data. The “Spirit of Entrepreneurship” program brings in speakers for the Entrepreneurial thought leader seminars to discuss topics like venture financing and business models that influence a successful startup.

Blackbuck Scholar Portal & Placements
Students get access to resume and portfolio services. Each student will be given special care to make a resume highlighting strengths and achievements. Each student gets a scholar page on the portal where the student resume along with his / her appraisal will be portrayed. In addition, the student will be able to showcase the product developed with the specifications and code available on the page to recruiters. Recruiters can shortlist candidates from the portal and also view the actual product code and description of the student on the portal.
Advanced Preparation Services help students go through soft skills programs like communication, presentation skills, documentation and those skills expected out of a fresher. The most important part of the training consist of extensive practice in analytical ability, algorithms and data structures, reasoning and puzzles for programmers. The advanced preparation services help students prepare for interviews in premium organizations like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Accenture, Capgemini and also become better Entrepreneurs with skills like sales, negotiations, finance, management etc.,
Placements
We will place students in International firms and tier-1 firms. Students get access to resume and portfolio services. Future Fit
Training on tips and tricks, different types of tests from different organizations will all be provided to the student. The student will be prepared for any kind of tests starting from GATE to GRE and from public enterprise exams to the corporate.
A test is given to the student every month and a detailed statistic of the students performance is provided to the parents.
Aptitude
Communication, TOEFL& IELTS
Training will be provided to students on a variety of speaking and writing styles and test materials will be given in order to minimise linguistic bias.
The test, tests the ability to listen, read, write and speak in English.
When the student completes the tests, he / she can easily cross the barrier in tests related to public secto / corporate or GRE.
Net Impact
The students become a member of the Net Impact club. Net Impact’s mission is to be a platform to all Blackbucks students and alumni with an ultimate aim to make a positive impact on society by growing and strengthening a community of new leaders who use technology to improve the world. The Net Impact club encourages discussions, technology assistance, connection with mentors etc., through online discussion board. The Net Impact club also helps students help each other by publishing the opportunities, competitions and seminars in their own areas.
All our material is put online and the students can directly access it any point of time.
The performance of the student is also available online and the parent can have the performance delivered directly to the mobile.
